London is burning!!
Hey guys!
I dont know how much this will interest any of you, but im right now in having a short visit in london and was all excited ever since i landed here on friday to do some major decedance shopping in Camden Market. The plan was to do that this morning. Then last night i turn on the news and, as it happens, all of camden market, from the loch area untill the part closer to the tube station was BURNING TO THE GROUND!!!
Massive flames that could be seen from blocks away spitting up huge sinders of once glorious ripoff t-shirts of heavy metal bands. Apparently there were about 100 fire fighters at the scene, a building collapesed and most of the market has been completly wiped out. Last I heard, no1 was hurt.
So anyway, theyre calling it here "the end of camden market". My heart is broken :(
Hopefully theyre wrong, and they will rebuild bigger and better like london always does after a fire or plague or what not. But I just wanted to share the irony and sadness with you guys.
Oh well, I guess it's off to oxford street and covent garden for me :P

אם יש מקום שהכי הרגשתי בבית בו זה שם:(
זוכרים את היצירות אומנות שיש מעל לחלונות החנויות שם? הדר' מרטינס, ונדמה לי כמה גיטרות, חבל לי עליהם זה נתן אופי למקום, לשפץ חנויות תמיד אפשר, את הצבעוניות והאומנות מסביב קשה לשחזר.

Its... all gone :((
They didnt really let us get near it all, but my god.
It was such a colorful place which really defined the funky / alternative side of london and its just gone.
fucking hell... :(
Oh, and theyre saying a cigerette started it all.
There's an anti-smoking campaign if there ever was one :O

Well, not taking into consideration the massive loss of life that occured in 9.11, I suppose for us, the twin towers were little more than an amazing sight and therefore, after seeing it once, yea, whats the point in seeing it again.
The market however, is quite different. Since it's a constantly renewing source of fasion and art... there's always a reason to go back and so, even if you've been there once, twice or a million times, its still sucks knowing that there's nothing to go back to :((

טוב דיברתי עם חבר שלי והוא אמר לי שהאיזור שנשרף הוא מהגשר שמעל המרקט איפה שמוכרים אוכל סיני, אבל במדרכה הימנית, יש איזו פנייה ימינה כזו כל החלק האחורי נפגע ולא שיירת החנויות הארוכה שמתחילה מהטיוב ועד המרקט הראשי כלפי מעלה, שזה החלק המרכזי של קמדן, אני באמת מקווה שהוא צודק.

וחוץ מזה אחרי שחושבים על זה לונדון בנתה הפקת תחבורה מטורפת (טיוב) תוך שנים מעטות אז על קמדן הם לא ישתלטו וישפצו במהירות? אל דאגה בפעם הבאה שתיהיו שם הכל יהיה חדש.
הרי צריך לעשות משהו חיובי ממחצית המשכורת שהם גונבים לכל אזרח מומצע שם.

כוונתי הייתה טובה, או כפי שאתה היית מנסח את השיטה הנ"ל - water under the bridge-
וזו ההתייחסות שצריכה ליהיות לאדם לכל אירוע מעבר לשליטתו,לפי דעתי כמובן.
ניסיתי להאיץ את היחס,למצב.
זו הדרך הכי טובה,לפי דעתי{שוב} כמובן, להתגבר על בעיות.
שיטה שנייה שלי זה להטיל קוביה ולקבוע איך אני אתייחס לזה..אבל זה כבר משהו ביני לבין עצמי.
